Captured Moments

I returned unscathed from my travels and enjoyed it all. There are so many beautiful and cool things I took pictures of so I’d like to share a few of them with you. The book picture with the poem was also from my journey.

Michigan

Zingerman's

University of Michigan Courtyard

The Clock (Not Big Ben)

Beer Depot

Quickie Burger ;)

Monkey Bar (For Monkey)

Love came in the wrong package

Love came in the wrong package without paper or bows. There wasn’t a note to say I should keep or dispose. I handled it as if it were a prize, using its hard beauty as a disguise. Its intriguing presence kept me coming back for more, unwilling to admit I was addicted to explore. For days it opened and released its soul, triggering emotions that continued to grow. The pain and happiness expressed to me, a stoic persona, and solid like an oak tree. From the beginning ‘til it stopped dangling its suspense, was when I caved from feelings so intense. While it taught, my heart held by its hook, through beautiful pages that filled this book. Love came in the wrong package but took me by surprise, it swallowed and threw away all my life’s despise.

Traveling Fools!

I’ll be traveling to a neighboring state this weekend to hang out with a few friends, one I’ve met and another I’ll meet for the first time. This should be a crazy fun weekend filled with lots of drinks, food, and laughs. For me, it’s exciting meeting people I’ve met in the virtual world, not only because I enjoy traveling, but also the experience of seeing how others live. To my weekend friends, who I plan to make some fun memories with.

Roads we travel
Are sometimes gravel,
While others wind
Into secret sublime.

We chance our fates
While crossing states
Experience anew
For a brew or two

Doesn’t take much
To keep in touch
Unless your meet

Wasn’t so sweet

Hope our time together
Avoids stormy weather
And sunshine rules
For us silly fools

Happy Mother's Day!

I want to wish all the mothers out there a Wonderful Mother's Day! God Bless you for your daily strength and love.

I'm back from a nice day with my mom and family. For my sister-in-law, sister and mom, I wrote a poem, chose a picture I had of their children, lightened it, put the poem on the picture with my name and then had a canvas made of them. I took the below pictures of the canvases. The first one was for my sister-in-law of my nephew David, and the other one was given to my sister of my niece and nephew, Renee and Zach (Sorry, the photo is blurry).
