I just have to chime in on your comments for this post--and this is merely for shock value--but I have never seen this movie! *stands back and folds arms over chest, waiting for "Get OUT!" reaction.* Every time I tell someone this, they insist I can't be serious. But I am. I tried watching it last Christmas for the first time with my husband, because a neighbor who was appalled that I hadn't seen it loaned it to me, and after the first half, both of us fell asleep! Not because I didn't like it, but because it's a 3 hour movie and we were both tired when we put it in.
Anyhow. I'm looking forward to finishing the second half sometime this season, and I hope you'll repost this quiz next year! :)
*jaw drops* I was heading for the “Shut up!” response. You’re not the first one I’ve met who has never seen this movie.
I’m a romantic, and when I was younger used to watch the old movies on A&E. The phone scene in this movie with Mary and George is by far, one of the most romantic scenes I’ve seen in a movie.
I do hope you get to see the end of this film. Maybe make some hot chocolate to keep you up. :D And just so you know, I’m extending the deadline for the quiz since it’s hectic now and some haven’t been able to see the movie yet. But if you can’t participate this year, I’ll be sure to repost next year.
It’s really great to see you around, Mud. I wish you and your family a safe and wonderful Christmas and New Year.
Hi Bea! Always appreciate your fun quizzes and the pieces that promote a reader’s participation. I just emailed you my best answers as I didn’t want to post them on your Blog and influence someone to give the wrong answer and not win the contest LOL! Wish you and the family the best Merry Christmas to date. Also wishing you some first place writing contest wins in the New Year!! I just know they are coming. Keep up the good work.
Aw, thanks, I'm glad you enjoy them. I got your answers and anyone entering the contest will have a run for their money with your responses. It was a good idea about just sending them. ;)
I wish you and your family a safe and wonderful Christmas. Thank you so much for the wishes for winning contests. How sweet of you to wish that for me and to have such confidence in my abilities. I wish you an awesome 2010 and hope all your wishes come true. Take care.
ok, this was a tough and demanding one! But I have to thank you for making me watch the movie. I hate to admit it, but I never watched it before and now I absolutely love it and it will become part of our Christmas Tradition.
I sent my answers using email for the same reasons Veejay decided to, as I do not want to confuse anyone with answers that are wrong ;)
Merry Christmas to you, Beas (I know I'm a little late, sorry.....)
