Fun Quiz Time!

I figured it was time for me to throw in something fun. Here is a Human Resource Personality Quiz, and what it says about me isn’t far from the truth. I was a 37.

“31 to 40 points: Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful and practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest...Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over it if that trust is ever broken.”

What’s your true personality? *smiles*

  1. I clicked over and took the quiz, but was a little surprised! I rated a 46, which put me in the 41-50 range. I really don't see myself in that description, but much more in the description you fell into. I wonder if our self-perception and others' perception is that different!

  2. I've wondered the same thing, are our self-perceptions different than how others' perceive us?

I'm not big on astrology, but I do find it fascinating and we have an ascending sign (how others see us), which is different than our birth sign. I found that interesting when I followed "Astrology for Dummies" to do my basic chart.

I think we perceive ourselves more so how we want to be instead of how we actually are or how others' see us.

  4. cray, According to the “experts” we’re the same. I bet what makes us the same is we picked “Other” for numbers 9 and 10. ;)

  5. Bea,

A fun quiz, thanks! I got a 33 with my best answers. Just for the heck of it after that I took an average of 8 & 9 as I was in between two answers for each question. It still came out 33. LOL!
I would say it’s surprisingly close.

  6. Veejay, either they are humoring us, or your calculator broke. :D I’m glad you enjoyed a bit of fun. I’ll have to throw some fun posts in every once in awhile to make sure you’re all awake.

  7. Hmm... 39 for me, Bea. I kind of enjoyed taking the test ... until I realized that some people actually take stuff like this seriously. Just imagine not being hired by some HR genius because your sleeping position isn't up to standards ... I better watch out what I'll be dreaming tonight ;)

  8. These quizzes are always so fun, and at the same time expected, in the sense that the results are not a surprise, and that they do not in anyway measure who we really are. What they do try to measure, is a little bit of our personality traits at the time of question. The commonality in all quizzes, is that they carry traits which we all have as human beings, at different periods in our lifes, making us widely connected at all times, no matter how different we may be. I think Quizzes don't reveal an accurate result, as most of the quizzes are done in such a way predictable to the answers, placed in categories. Plus, you may be feel to answer different questions on different days, and then it will just match that mood-going with the patterned result. So like Joanne says, it's a matter of perception, and what you choose to believe in, at the time that you take the quiz. Also, Quizzes tend to be rather restrictive in the sense, that they make you imagine what you would do in a particurlar situation, and you may not even be like that, when such experience presents itself. Personality tests tend to also be ego based and don't bring insight inwards, rather make you pick something on the outside, to make you think this is who you are creating an identity, when in reflection you may be nothing like this personality. (A trap, if your not careful) Interesting nonetheless. So good to be back here. : ) Hope you are well Bea. P.S-I got to Q.6 and I was stuck, as I really have no idea. Imaginative questions leave me clueless, whereas answers are breathless :)
