I snuck out of the house and went to the park to be by myself for a little self reward of peace and quiet. There I saw the young boys playing baseball in their little league uniforms. It was quite entertaining. I saw the coach and some fathers and mothers who thought they were the coach. Then I smiled and thought to myself that’s why I came to the park alone. I’m happily without a coach.

ReplyDeleteAnonymous, that is wonderful. I love how you connected your peace and quiet with what was going on around and the coaches. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteThe sting of those words wouldn't leave me. How could I have said those things?
ReplyDeleteSleepless. I snuck out of the house and went to the park.
Very good, anonymous. I like how you thought outside the box by putting the phrase at the end.
