What would you do?

I've watched the ABC show What would you do? and find it interesting how people react to situations, along with the different responses and reaction from/to the genders.

Here are some of my “What would you do?” questions.

1) After many years, you finally meet someone and fall in love. S/he takes your breath away and you find yourself thinking about them when apart. Even when you’re not in the same room with them, you feel comfort in knowing they're not far away. One night, your lover gets into a fight wit
h your best friend, a friend who has been with you for years. Both attack the others character and both declare they never want to see the other one again. Your lover tells you to break all ties with your best friend. What would you do?

2) You just find out your first born a seven year old isn’t your child. After you delivered, they accidentally swapped babies. What would you do?

Angel Glitter

Heaven’s white dust

Sprinkles heavily down

Blown with great gust

To cover the ground

Angels sweep clouds

Falling towards the earth

Worn like shrouds

Delay New Year’s rebirth

Ice encased trees

Limbs frozen in time

Makes everyone sneeze

Its power sublime

Children get dirty

Fingers kissed by the cold

Running carefree

What a sight to behold

Sunny tomorrow

Cheers hibernated souls

Melts winter fresco

Starts one’s personal goals

Rod Blagojevich upset over misspelling of his name

Today in Illinois, Rod Blagojevich was upset over the misspelling of his name on the impeachment slip. He felt at least one person out of the 114 votes to impeach him should have known how to spell it.

When confronted about the allegations against him, Rod turned to the cameras and said, “I’m innocent, I tell you. I will fight for my innocence as I sit in the jail cell next to George Ryan.”

The House committee wants to clean up the corruption in Illinois politics, along with finding some politicians with a better fashion sense. Behind the scenes, Rod had always been known as ‘Helmet Head’ to his staff, and rumor has it that in the recorded phone tapings, you can hear his wife, Patricia saying, “Quit whining and try my f***ing salon.” Rod accused the House impeachment process for ganging up on him because he has more hair than all of them put together. The committee and his political party denied this allegation.

According to prior records, Rod was going to sell the senate seat for $150,000 to Pete Rose, but shortly after agreement, Pete declined after realizing it wasn’t for admission into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

I received a call from the FBI regarding today’s blog entry, and I confessed that all of these statements are false; I just wanted to keep up with the Illinois political lies.

Hope you had a few laughs. Have a great weekend!

Nine Months

Nine months gone
A friend lost too
Grew withdrawn
From feeling blue
Insomnia came
Without a test
Was I to blame
For being a mess?
Asked for aid
Request denied
Sat down to pray
Lost all my pride
Many days past
Outlook cheered
Such a contrast
To what I feared
Today I smiled
Smoking habit quit
Not carrying child
But getting fit.

For all those who kept their quit, or who are still struggling with the addiction, I understand. I hope some day you will want to, and find the strength to conquer it. Good Luck!
